Setting up the Chart of Accounts (COA) in ERPNext can be done in several ways. The first method is using the default configuration when setting up ERPNext, and the second is by importing.
When you set up ERPNext for the first time, you have the option to use the standard Chart of Accounts provided by the system. This default Chart of Accounts is typically sufficient for running small to medium-sized business operations, meaning you only need to add a few custom accounts as needed.

<p>Setelah anda menyelesaikan setup ERPNext menggunakan COA yang disediakan, anda dapat melihat COA yang tebentuk pada Company anda dengan membuka menu Charts of Accounts. Untuk menambahkan akun, anda dapat klik pada tombol “+ New” lalu mengisi kolom-kolom yang diperlukan sebagai berikut:</p>

<p>New Account Name: Nama akun yang ingin anda tambahkan</p>Account Number: The account code if you wish to add numbering to the account (Optional)
Is Group: If checked, you will be creating an account group. An account group is not an actual ledger account, but merely a category for grouping accounts. You must create a non-group account if you want to use it in transactions.
Account Type: Select the account type.
Currency: The currency of the account.
Once the fields are filled, click the Create New button, and the new account will be created.

<p>Untuk mengedit akun, pilih akun yang ingin diedit. Lalu pilih tombol Action dan pilih tombol Update Account Name / Number untuk mengubah nama dan nomor akun.</p>

<p>Apabila anda sudah memiliki template COA untuk Perusahaan anda, anda dapat menggunakan fitur Import untuk mengatur COA untuk Company anda.</p>Open the Chart of Accounts Importer menu, then select your company. Please note that you can only perform an import for a company that has no existing transactions. After that, click Download Template to get the import file
Select the file type (Excel / CSV) and choose Sample Template to obtain an example account layout, making it easier for you to follow and replicate the required COA format.
